The ability to wear a pair of boat shorts with Sperry's and a polo is the greatest feeling in the world. Whoever said I had to wait until it was at least 70 degrees to do so? In Michigan, we all know it's not all that common to wear pants. But I refuse. On a chilly 55-degree day, I'll be wearing plaid short and a zip-up track jacket. Hey, my arms and upper body are warm, so my lower body can afford to be a little cold. And also if you know me, you know I never get cold. I'm warm in virtually every scenario there is. Seer-sucker, cargo, dress and athletic shorts line the hangers in my closet. I can't get enough ... and I kind of wish I knew why I had such an obsession. Does anyone ever even notice what shorts I'm wearing? I highly doubt it, but the breezy feeling rather than the congested one is great for guys too, for obvious reasons.

Shorts. Ya kiddin' me?! You cannot convince me that they look good on the average woman! I have seen very very few ladies in my day rocking the shorts. Therefore, I won't wear shorts, I don't own shorts, and I certainly don't plan on switching sides on this one. Sure, shorts are practical for sweltering summer weather, but skirts and dresses are just as practical and much more fashionable. Have you ever seen someone who's shorts have ridden up? Mortifying I tell you! Or what about short shorts; you know, the ones where cheek creases can be spotted? How dare you subject the public to that! In my opinion there are just to many malfunction possibilities when it comes to wearing shorts. I just can't be a supporter of such a product. Go pantelones!!!
