Sean's Weekend (in Sam's words):
Yesterday evening I commenced my All American Road Trip! After saying my goodbyes in the Oklahoman newsroom I hunkered down in my HHR for the 9+ hour drive to Florence Alabama. The road trip was pretty flawless with the HHR getting great gas millage and no traffic. I did have one traumatic rest stop fiasco at an Arkansas gas station, complete with millions of tiny green flies attacking me and my car. But, I survived, thank god. This weekend Kevin, Todd and I will be golfing at a Florence country club, hitting up the bars, and getting rowdy. This weekend may be a quiet one for me (ha, what's new?). I had an absolutely exhausting week, while working mornings at the TV station. I would arrive at work at 4AM and then spend the next 5 hours preparing the show, complete with 4 weather casts every hour. Then I went back to work in the afternoon from 2-7. That's a lot of the TV station! This weekend I'll be running around town with my parents measuring our new TV and then visiting the new apartment to make sure it'll fit. It's been discussed that we go check out Bronco's training camp as well. Maybe say hi to out neighbor Champ Bailey, ha. Then, tomorrow we're going hiking up Devils Head in Castle Rock, CO. I'll most definitely take pictures and post them soon!
